Nudity as a Design

Portrayal of nude has been a fascination of the artists from the time immemorial. The passion probably springs from evident connection with the nature as the basis of creation. Viewed in this angle each nude shape relates with all the shapes and figures or rather the designs of the universe. In the light of this philosophy, Mrs. Sandhya has painted a nude human body – female, of course to represent nature – mingling with nature. The lines cover the body as well as the entire frame to make them an inseparable whole.
